Suriname, you impressed me. I didn’t know what to aspect but I had always been curious about this country. A country with a lot of beautiful nature and a lot of different culture and most of all a huge history. We made a trip to the jungle with our guide and our private driver and cook. And what a cook he is! 😍 Every morning we woke up to the beautiful surprise of his very huge and tasty breakfast!! Every meal was an explosion of flavors, unlike anything I had ever tasted before. His Cassava soup with coconut milk? Rich, creamy, and pure comfort in a bowl. His Ja Zeker? A dish I had never even heard of before this trip, but now I’m obsessed. Every bite was a love letter to Surinamese cuisine, and honestly, I looked forward to mealtimes just as much as the day’s adventures.
